The next morning she went out to check on him and he was dead. She was devastated! The most sad part about it for Greg and me was she truly seemed sad that he had lost his life, not that she didn't have him anymore. She felt so guilty for not letting him go before she went to bed! What a sweet girl!
While cleaning out the flower beds Greg found this snake, and several others too. The girls thought they were a lot of fun. Both Emory and Addison touched them and both nearly held them!
While working outside with her daddy, Trinity found a really neat snail shell. Greg inspected it to make sure it wasn't currently inhabited then gave her the okay to bring it inside and keep it. The next morning when we awoke, this is what we found on our dining room table:
So much for being vacant!
Last Sunday we attended an ice cream social at the girls school, following their spring musical. The girls had a blast playing with their friends and eating ice cream with them too! Trinity and her friends found themselves in a game of duck-duck-goose, which they were kind enough to allow Emory to join (Trinity's friends are wonderful to Emory and Addison!).
I know Trinity had a great time playing with her friends, but I think Emory was on cloud 9 getting to play with them too! Can you tell by the size of her smile in both of those pictures?
