TRICK-OR-TREAT!!!!!

This is a video I took at the zoo on Sunday.

Gotta love the influence of kids at school (especially the ones with older brothers at home).

The end is here

Saturday marked the end of Trinity's first soccer season. As always with the YMCA sports, every participant received a trophy. This is Trinity's first trophy!

Boo at the Zoo

We love this time of year! There are so many great opportunities to celebrate Halloween and of course my girls love to dress up in costumes, so it suites them quite well! On Sunday we went to the Dallas Zoo for Boo at the Zoo. It was a different set up than in years past and we're not yet sure if it was better, but regardless it was fun! The girls had on their costumes, got to play games, get candy and see their favorite animals! I don't think you can ask for too much more than that!

Addison loved being up so high! She laughed the entire time!

Camping trip

My parents spent the weekend camping at Joe Pool and since Trinity had Friday off school I took the girls out to join them. We had such a great time, even though we only spent the day out there. The girls started in, almost immediately, with "I'm bored" or "this is boring". I think that was a pretty good sign they need to be kicked out of the house to entertain themselves more often. We didn't take any toys with us, so they had to find entertainment. We ended up having a wonderful time and the day went by way too fast! The weather was perfect!
Here are some pictures, and I will add more when I get them from my mom and sister. I'm such a horrible Mom, I somehow ended up without any good pictures of Trinity. I know my mom got some cute ones of her though!

Trinity took this picture of Addison, pretty good, huh?

Trinity's decleration

Trinity came up to me after school this afternoon and said very proudly, "Billy's my boyfriend". I was trying my best to fight off a little snicker when she continued, "Emma said she's going to marry him, but I'm going to marry him first and if Emma marries him first then I'm going to ask God to unmarry them." This time she was very smug in her tone of voice (typical of her attitude recently- unfortunately). After these statements she walked off and continued working on pictures for us to draw on pumpkins this evening.

A little later I started asking her about this "relationship" and she told me Billy doesn't know about this new found title of theirs, nor does he know about Emma's decision to marry him. I asked her if she was going to tell him or even ask him if he was or would be her boyfriend and she said she wouldn't. I continued to ask her what it meant for him to be her boyfriend and her response was very simple, "it means we will get married."

When Greg called a little later I told him about this "situation" and he nearly got sick. He said, "Well now my day just got bad". He isn't too pleased about all this and said she was too young. There are some things boys just don't get:)

Billy's a great kid and so are his parents (both UNT grads I might add). In fact, Trinity is going to play on the basketball team Billy's dad is coaching.
