Happy Easter!

We love a reason to celebrate around here (just in case you haven't figured that out) and we believe Easter is a pretty good reason! The girls had a blast dying and decorating eggs and picking out the perfect accessories to go along with their dresses! They woke up so excited Easter morning to check out what the bunny left them and if it was warm and dry enough for the bunny to have hid the eggs outside. They checked out their loot and couldn't wait to get to the eggs! We did make them wait though because they woke up WAY before the sun did! Once the sun came up we opened the door and let them get to searching!

All of their treasures!!!!!!

Addison was NOT in a good mood (I think because she was awake so early) and she hadn't stopped crying most of the morning. She did stop crying when she discovered there was candy in some of the eggs she picked up and tried to stuff it all in her mouth at once. I had to take the rest of it away from her so she started screaming again. She was oozing this sticky yellowish-orangey goo from everywhere, she had too much in her mouth to swallow anything!

We were running really late for church so I unfortunately did not get to pose the girls and get them all set up for cute pictures, but I did manage to throw them out in the yard at the same time and get them looking in the same general direction even though they're not really smiling. They all three looked beautiful in their new dresses, tights, shoes, purses, headbands, etc. Notice how Trinity and Emory match and they're holding their dolls that match too? Pretty cute, at least I think!

Hope you had a blessed Easter as well!

Pictures from Mom's camera

The girls and I had the pleasure of spending the day today with my mom and sister. While they were here Mom shared the pictures on her camera with me. They are from both Fossil Rim and a Spring Festival we attended at her church. Some of them are really cute!

Addison loved petting the animals!

My dad was in charge of holding the pinata (he's a big kid) and had a great time doing so!

The girls did really well at the Easter egg hunt!

Great Friday!

We have a family tradition of having fun on Good Friday. We started out the day with breakfast at IHOP...YUMMY! We all got really full tummies then headed to the Arboretum for a beautiful spring day. We had a great time and created even more memories together.

Beethoven?

So the other day I was in the kitchen getting dinner ready and I heard someone playing on Addison's little piano. I didn't really pay much attention to it, but assumed it was Trinity since I thought she was in the playroom. Suddenly I realized the tune being played sounded familiar so I looked around the corner and this is what I found:
