So here I am changing Addison's diaper (which is often a job needing two people) and Emory is standing at the foot of the changing table looking at Addison. Emory said, "Oh Mom, Addison's missing a sockie sock, she needs it on her footy foot her toesy wosies don't get coldy cold." Okay, I don't talk that way, so I'm not sure where she got it from! Then she finds the sock in Addison's bed and gives it to her and starts talking to her (in her sweetest voice), "Baby Girl, do you know where you put your socky sock? That's right, on your foot. Good job Baby Girl!" Then Addison starts squirming around a little so Emory picks her shoe up from her changing table, it was a soft sole shoe (Robeez if you're famaliar with all this stuff), sticks her hand inside and starts pretending it's a puppet! She started talking in a disguised voice and said, "well hello there little girl, my name is shoe. What's yours?" Addison got the biggest kick out of her big sister/little momma...and so did I (but you're not allowed to call me big momma or any variation of that).
We've always known Ems was a great mommy to her babies and she is so caring and loving this doesn't really surprise me at all! I just love the details of this specific story and wanted to share it and have her read it to her babies when she's a Mommy for real!
