Homecoming at the Hill

Last night was the homecoming football game for the high school where my mom teaches, so we made a family outing out of it. We had a great time with Pappy, Gommy and Nini and I have quite a few pictures to prove it!
Pappy bought Mums for the little ones and his honey (but not HIS daughters...I see where we rank)

The girls were so proud to be walking in with their mums, just like the students!

Addison and Nini enjoyed watching the bands perform together before the game

Trinity went to the concession stand with my dad to get some water, can you tell she was just a little proud of her negotiation skills in obtaining some cotton candy?

She thought she was gonna get away with eating the whole bag...

but then her sisters spotted it!

Trinity got really sleepy, so she tried to go to sleep using my foot as a pillow. It didn't work out too well for her, but she did end up falling asleep during the 1/2 time show.

Addison and Gommy were almost asleep too.

but not Emory, she and Greg were having a great time together!

We're fairly certain she was flashing gang signs at us in the picture...too many inner city football games I guess

We had a great time and look forward to DHJ homecoming next year!

Our little singers

This year both Trinity and Emory are in choir at church, The Cherub Choir. They are having a great time and learning from the same person who taught both my sister and me when we were growing up. They have already learned so many basic things about music and some really fun songs. This past Sunday was their first time to sing in church and they were precious! I'm prettu sure I heard Trinity's voice through all the others', but Emory isn't quite as confident just yet. I thought I'd share a few pictures of our sweet little cherubs with you...

The girls had just gotten their robes on and were in the choir room.

In this picture they were in the big church, waiting to process with the other choirs...can you tell that they're showing off a bit?

I look forward to many more choir memories, special moments and concerts to come!
