Last day of school

I can't believe school is already out for the summer! The girls last day was Friday of last week. It was a sad day for me, since we are planning on moving this summer and won't be back with the school that has become such a huge part of our lives and the people who have become a great part of our family. Emory cried on her last day because she didn't want to leave her teachers, does that give you an idea of how wonderful they are?!?!?! Trinity was too distracted by the idea of two parties that day to get sad, but she talks about wanting to go back every day. I took a few pictures of the girls for them to look back on and remember.

Such an amazing year and wonderful memories! Thanks to our school family for all you have done for us, all you have taught us and all you have given us! We are so blessed to have had these four incredible years with you guys; we will never forget you!

Swimming at Nana and Pops'

We spent the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend swimming at Greg's Dad's house, along with some of the family. The girls had a great time playing with their cousins and Greg had a great time playing with his brothers! I had a great time relaxing in the sun! Here are just a few of our pictures from the day:

Trinity is tall enough to stand in the "little pool" this year! She loves it!

Addison still likes playing with her Daddy. She even walked off the side of the pool into his arms (thank goodness he was watching!) and let him dunk her under water!

These two hung close most of the day

Adventures at the lake

Last week we took the girls to a spot at White Rock Lake where all the birds tend to gather. It was a very unique experience this time. A lady was there along with her goose, "Princess". Princess is living with this lady while she is being nursed back to health and preparing to release amongst the other geese at the lake. Princess is still a young goose with mostly down instead of feathers. She was so sweet though! She thinks she's a little girl instead of a goose, so she was right at home with our group. Her favorite game is chase, and the girls were more than please to play that with her!

Emory and Addison really enjoyed the game of chase! Sometimes it was hard to tell if Princess was enjoying it or if she was running for her life

Princess was enthralled with Addison's shoes!

Check out the mo hawk on this duck!

Peek-a-boo Addison, we see you!

I don't remember when we took this picture, but I thought it was really cute!

Presenting Princess Snaggletooth!

I can't believe Trinity has lost her first tooth! It seems like just yesterday she was getting her first tooth! It happened Friday on our way to bed. After only being noticably loose for two or three days it fell out while we were brushing her teeth and caught all of us by serious surprise! We had already had such a fun-filled and exciting day, this was one more exciting milestone for her! For me it added to the emotions of the day, she graduated from kindergarten that morning (post to come) and had a swimming party and a birthday party at Pump-it-up for a friend turning 7...what an emotional day for a Mommy! The tooth fairy came and visited her and left her a whole $3.50!!!! She thought she was a millionaire!

I checked yesterday and the tooth next to it is already a little loose too. I can't believe my baby is growing so quickly!

Water Play Fun

Last week the girls decided to play in the sprinklers and had a blast! They're still adjusting to being in the water this year, but they're getting the hang of it. It took them a while to be comfortable running through the water and getting splashed, as you can tell they finally were okay with it.
