Pajama Day

Last Monday Trinity's class had 'Pajama Day' during school. They had been studying the letter 'P' the week before, so they wore their Pajamas, took Pillows, had Pancakes, and all kinds of other P stuff. She had such a great time and was SO excited to wear her pajamas to school I had to take pictures.

Trinity at 9 months

We have such great friends! Kelly Cardwell sent me a pictures she had saved from when Trinity was nine months old. Yea Kelly! Don't I feel like a terrible mom! I had saved all the pictures on my computer at work, but I don't exactly have that computer any more. They're all still on CD somewhere, but those got all mixed up and it would take me forever to go through them all! Anyway, here is Trinity at nine months:

It will be any day now that Addison gives up her army crawl, so I tried to capture it on video today. I've got to figure out why my camera records so dark, but hopefully you can see what's going on. She is so cute!

9 months old!

I can't believe another month has passed by! Addison is nine months old now, I'm not ready for all the baby time to be over! If you have any suggestions as to how to slow down the clock, I'm still open! I took Addison for her nine month check-up this morning and here are her measurements:
weight: 17 lbs (20%)
length: 27" (35%)
head: 18" (90%)

For comparison purposes (and since I didn't have a blog back then), here are Trinity's and Emory's measurements from nine months of age:

Trinity's stats at 9 months:
weight: 19 lbs 12 ozs (70%)
length: 28 3/4" (85%)
head: 18" (90%)

Emory's stats at 9 months:
weight: 18lbs 12 ozs (50%)
length: 28 1/2" (80%)
head: 18" (90%)

So I guess it's safe to say that all three girls have incredibly large brains and will be set to take over the world with their incredible genius powers! I can't believe how tiny Addison is compared to her sisters! The pediatrician said that's just how she is, she has never been over 50% in height or weight, so there is nothing to worry about by her size. I'm sure she will eventually raise her percentage, at least in height! I don't think she has a prayer in the world to be less than 5'9" tall, the shortest person in either of our families is 5' 8.5"!

This month has been quite a month for Addison's development! She has started blowing kisses (not on demand most of the time), getting crazy fast at her army crawl and is on her hands and knees more and more every day, she is standing well while holding onto the table (she went for about 30 minutes last weekend), she is talking and moving non-stop (just like Trinity did), she is almost always happy, she is giving kisses (hasn't mastered closing her mouth for them quite yet so they're a little slimy- but I wouldn't trade the drool for the world!), she thinks cat food and dog food are delicacies, she LOVES to dance to music and surprisingly she is pretty good at staying with the rhythm of the song, she has the most precious and infectious laugh on the planet (she does this little shaky thing with her voice, I'm trying to catch it on video), she is incredibly tough (if she's not getting manhandled by her sisters then she doesn't know what to think), she LOVES the 'uh-oh' game, and will do just about anything to get your attention!

She is quite the thumb sucker too, urgh! We remind her to stop every time we catch her, but it doesn't seem to be doing any good and she won't suck on a pacifier to save her life! I asked the doc about this today and he said not to try to stop her, it will add more stress and cause her to look for it for comfort even more; most toddlers quit on their own and if she doesn't then we will deal with it when the time is right...yea! She looks so cute sucking her thumb!

What a wonderful little girl! I am so grateful to have her as a part of our family, we are all so blessed to have her; the joy she adds is immeasurable! I am incredibly lucky to get to spend so much time with her! Thanks Greg for making it possible!

I love my family!

So here is Addison's nine month picture with Mr., you can go back to seven and eight months to see how much she's grown and changed.

Here is a picture of Emory at nine months for you to check out. I don't have any of Trinity on the computer, I will look for one to add, or if anyone has one they can forward to me that would be awesome!

Friday night at Snuffer's

If you haven't ever been to Snuffer's, you're really missing out! Greg hadn't been in a while (a couple of weeks at least), so he had to get his fix on Friday night. We asked his mom if she and David would like to join us...we hadn't seen them in a couple of weeks either...and they did! We had a great time visiting with Mimi and David and eating cheese fries and all kinds of other artery hardening foods! The girls were all dressed in their fall clothes for the special occasion! They really miss their Mimi and David and were so excited to see them and get to spend some time with them. We look forward to our next outing!

We're famous!

So a buddy of ours from our days in Denton is a country music singer, Brian Houser. He also performs under the name of Beerman, those shows are awesome! If you've never taken the opportunity to go see him, I highly recommend it! Anyway, Brian sends out emails to remind everyone (several hundred people at least) about his upcoming gigs. He plays all the UNT home games in the tailgating parking lot, so he sends out reminders to his email list about those too. When he sent the reminder out for the game yesterday guess whose picture was on it...well check it out for yourself:

Some of our best memories from college and with our college friends are from Beerman shows! Greg and is fraternity brothers were incredibly loyal Beerman followers, and still are! They actually initiated him to their fraternity as an alumni. Great times!
