At sixteen months old, Addison is discovering something new each and every day. Last week she had two new discoveries that are turning into somewhat of an obsession for her: shoes and mud! Of course she's always known about both, her discoveries have been other people's shoes, and the joy of playing in the mud.

fetish began with a pair of Emory's dress-up shoes and has grown into Mommy's high heels and Daddy's loafers, here is a picture of where it all began:
That same day Emory thought it would be fun to help me out by watering the grass (or spots without grass), which quickly created patches of mud and Addison was all too ready to explore.
One of my favorite parts of being a mother is watching my girls explore the world, discover new things and find joy in the smallest things. This day was a wonderful day for me!
