Adventure Princess Campout

I can't believe Trinity is old enough to participate in Adventure Princesses (formerly known as Indian Princesses)! I remember going on the campouts with my dad and I thought I was so big! Those are some of my best memories from growing up which made me so excited for Greg and Trinity to have their first campout as a part of the organization! They left Friday night and came home on Sunday, driving all the way to Possum Kingdom! They had such a great time together and are closer than ever these days. I wish I could remember everything they've told me so I can post it, but I know I'm going to leave something out.

Trinity got to ride a horse named "Daisy". She learned how to control it and give it instructions.

They climbed all the way to the top of Johnson's Peak! There were bead stations along the way to mark how far they had gone and attach them to their vests.

She canoed for the first time and Greg's first time in a long time

They got to shoot bows and arrows. Apparently Trinity didn't hit the target, but I'm sure she'll be even better next time.

They got to have a big slumber party with her friends.

Trinity played basketball with her friends, and she somehow turned it into a game of "family" or something like that.

They were both pretty worn out by the time they got home, but I think Greg was even more so than Trinity! They can't wait for the next trip in a few months!

Can you tell there weren't any moms around to fix their hair? Trinity's was so tangly when she got home it took forever to comb all the tangles out! Next time Greg will have a lesson before they leave:)
