What a week!

Greg went out of town most of the week for his annual Regional Conference for work and the girls and I were fortunate enough to have my sister stay with us! We were on the go the whole time and had a blast doing so!

In between all of our activities Nicci and I managed to completely re-do our bedroom...completely behind Greg's back! I'd been planning it for weeks so I was really excited for the time to finally get here! Unfortunately I was planning on finishing up the shopping on Tuesday while Trinity and Emory were at school and Greg was at work, but Greg ended up staying home sick. I didn't get any of the shopping done on Tuesday and I was only able to get a little done on Wednesday before Emory's dance class, so unfortunately I'm not completely finished with the room, but the hard work is done! We got all new bedding, wall art, shelves, window treatments and painted the walls and base board! I still have to get night stands and lamps and paint the doors and door frames...but I think I did pretty well! Of course I did manage to break the bed in the process of moving it across the room by myself, so we'll have to do something about that too.

It has turned out pretty good and Greg was completely surprised so MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!
